June 11-13 Summer Camp

ARTIST FOCUS: Marta Minujin, an Argentinian artist is a pioneer of happenings, performance art, soft sculpture, and video. She often uses ephemeral materials such as cardboard, fabric, and food in work that is both monumental and fragile. Minujín’s work is all about participation – or joining in. She makes art that people don’t just look at – but actively encounter. She wants people to be surprised and shocked and to become curious. She sees her role as intensifying people’s lives by getting them to experience things and feelings they normally wouldn’t. (Guggenheim Museum)

Small Group: 6-8 campers

This 3 day series is curated for ages 10-15 who want to walk away with a fun, playful art experience, new connections, and art skills.

We will be focusing on the work of Marta Minujin exploring art installation, 3D elements in art, and sculpture!  Our camps create a safe environment for practicing social emotional intelligence and building confidence to be accessed in all areas of your child's life.

Camp includes all art materials and snack, please bring a water bottle.
